I was lucky enough to get stationed at Elemendorf AFB in Anchorage, AK. I was there for 2 full years. My biggest regret in my life is that I didn't see enough of AK while I was there. I was too busy bitchin' about the cold the entire time. I wish I could go back and enjoy all the things I never wanted to do.

So last Nov I went about as far south as I could go on the American continent. This year, a journey north and maybe even a chance to dip a foot in the Arctic Ocean. Fairbanks, Gates of the Arctic NP, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and Prudhoe Bay will be the major sites for this adventure.
