 Beautiful, cheap accomodation in Ubud Mar 11, 2008
I have stayed here three times and it has been fantastic every time. The hotel it set in beautiful tropical gardens and rice fields. There are two fantastic pools hidden amongst the gardens. A good breakfast is included. I recommend getting an upstairs room without air conditioning (see pictures)Although there can be a few bugs at night time.
The staff are friendly although there are several people around the complex who will try to sell you tours, trips etc which can get a bit annoying. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the main street of Ubud and you will be charged at least $15.000 Rp each way. Ask at reception about the spa which they recommend, it is amazing. There is also a fantastic restaurant across the road. Unlike larger luxury hotels this place has loads of character and charm.
