We were all up bright and early to meet in the foyer for a 7am departure. On the bus, our transport for the next 10 days, we slowly got to know one another. I attended a fun filled game with over 2000 people from my church last night.   That's right 2000!!!  With 44,100 baseball fans packing Angel's Stadium, it was amazing to know that our chuch was represented well!!!The first innings of the game I was not able to completely focus on since I volunteered to pass out thundersticks along with 14 others.  It was a major task greeting our church members and also other Angel's adoring fans!!  I would feel really bad if all those pe...

Day 2 of the Disney experience..... So we went to Disney California Adventure Park today, and I must say the crowds were less, the rides were still fun - 'California Screamin' anyone? but these pesky rides still insist on breaking down, what's the go? We spent yesterday doing pretty much nothing. Dennis has been pretty generous with his time and he needed to get some things done. So he did. part of our trip home included a fantastic trip to disneyland. olli is a man who fully appreciates the value of a little disney magic- one criterion of any husband of mine. this was our fourth trip to a disney theme park- we had been once in 2003 and then to disneyworld in 2004 and 2006. it was also a momentous occasion, because it was to be my first time in california adventure. it was also my first time ever going to disneyland for more than a day AND, sadly, the first time in recent memory...

Went with my Mom, Sister and my brother inlaw to visit family in Seattle. It was their first time to the U.S, so I thought why not take them for a roadtrip... So we drove from Seattle down the coast to L.A and then to Las Vegas... Just love them roadtrips...

It was time for another travel to North America. Two weeks off from work, and as usual, I maximized this time out from my usual activities. From Los Angeles to San Jose to San Francisco and back to Orange County. And I have seen Mickey again... Cool.

Just a quick weekend away to visit some friends in LA.

disneyland remains unchanged, suppose that is one of the things i truly like about it. our first rides were "pirates of the caribbean" and "haunted mansion" and by four that afternoon we were headed to the adventure park to check into the "hollywood hotel." i thought i was going to die, as the 'elevator' dropped us what seemed like hundreds of feet into the twilight zone... i hope i continue to seek thrills and adventure as the years go by, as i do notice the loss of that sense of enchantment...

A day in Disneyland with some friends!

Disneyland: it truly is the "happiest place on Earth". It's much smaller than Walt Disney World in Florida, but also much more cozy. Plus, it's been around longer and less humidity! Universal Studios was quite entertaining too.
