Ana Te Pahu Cave Jan 18, 2012
Ana Te Pahu is the largest cave complex that I have seen on the Easter Island. Big large lave tube lays in the field and you should be careful where you are walking because there are few openings where cave ceiling collapsed. Inside of the caves are many remains of house platforms and you could see that many people lived there. Main opening has few banana trees growing in the hole and from there you can go in either direction. I did not explore the place in fullest because tunnels are flooded in certain parts and I did not have any light to help me see where I am going.

This place is very picturesque, and really lets you explore on your pace. It is not more than one hour from the city of Hanga Roa, and you will enjoy that walk and caves.
