Today we traveled as the locals do and rented bikes. I highly suggest doing this at least for a day in Amsterdam, it makes getting around easy and fun and you get to see a lot more of the city on a nice ride. Our first stop was Rembrants House. It was about his work as time evolved and how he lived and where he painted/sketched his art work. We had an audio tour and it was one of my favorite museums. It got a little boring towards the end but his art work was gre…

Many people try to get drunk, screwed (funny enough, in more ways than one..), and high in just one go.. "hey, while I'm in Amsterdam, I might as well do that too!" ..I find it disgusting how some people treat this city like she's a run-down, good for nothin' whore, who takes a beating from anyone!
Sadly enough, the truth should be told, Amsterdam is just that to the avarage tourist. When they come here, they disregard any moral values they've learned whatsoever, and it makes me puke. No cit…

We flew in from Gatwick on Easyjet arriving around 1pm. After a short walk around the terminal we found the platform we needed to ride the train into the city. The 40min trip in was smooth and allowed Bec a chance for a short nap. Upon arriving at Centraal Station, we made our way to the exit, admiring the old architecture on the way through. It is a lovely old building but unfortunately quite a lot of it was hidden under scaffolding whilie they carry out repairs. …

We began our day by taking bus 22 to Amsterdam Central Station, where we planned to validate our Eurail tickets, since we are heading to Belgium tomorrow. We also wanted to find a post office to mail the mirror Jason purchased on the previous day. When we got off of our bus, we headed down the street and along a major canal to the post office, which was a huge building. When we finally reached its doors, we went in to ask about mailing our packa…

When I traveled to Romania with my University for a joint study program, some friends and I continued our journey through Europe and traveled through Prague, Munich, and Amsterdam. It was one of the best times of my life!

The Netherlands was another funny story for me. Here I am a minister taking my niece on a trip through some of Europe and what did I do? I booked a hotel room in the middle of the red-light district! ROFL I know we took some photos of that room too but I don’t have them in my books so will have to look for them. Anyway we visited Ann Frank’s House and looked around for a day then headed back to Brussels.

I'm ungrateful. I come from Europe and know so little about it, have seen even less...I travel quite a lot but it's always to somewhere far away, over the horizon...I have an excuse: I'm saving my Europe for later, for when I learn how to appreciate what's within a reach better...when I grow up :)

Well... Our trip started with leaving from Copenhagen at 6:00 am, this was the trip from Copenhagen airport to Amsterdam, a farely short fllight of under an hour. But when we got to "ADAM" we found out that our fligt with Continental Airlines to Seattle was delayed for almost 6 hours... "I was like COME ONNNN" well... not really much you can do, but it was still a bad start on our trip to the U.S

Another day spent in Amsterdam. We wandered around the outer city around and across the canals, trying to get a better feel of Dutch life outside of the city centre.

We had a nice time drinking coffee at the cafe near flower market, had great dinner at the Indonesian restaurant and later good drinks at the Comedy Cafe. I couldnt stay all night but here are a few pics!

yesterday we visited the van gogh museum-cool but the starry night painting wasn't there-i was disapointed.went to the heineken experience-which was way better than the guinness factory.
also hit the marijuana, hash, & hemp museum, the red light district, and a couple coffee shops.today i bought a new camera since ours decided to act up and not work properly. spent sunset at the beach playing with the camera, and the evening playing pool and partaking in a relaxing, guitar pla…

In March I and my daughter had a trip to Brussels. At first day we walked around Brussels. At second day we were in Amsterdam. We were in history museum and Van Gogh museum. My daughter liked grass lawn near Van Gogh`s museum. At third day we went to Paris. We visited several old cathedrals. They were wonderful. On last day we traveled in Brugge.
