Friendly budgethotel in Center of Amsterdam Apr 07, 2008
We came here accidentaly since our bad experience with Hotel Jimmy not so far away from this place.
Tourist-Inn is sort of a youth hostel, meaning they have small dorms with 6 beds. But they also have single/double bedrooms. The prices are reasonable to cheap, and the location couldn't be better. Not only 10 minutes walk from the Central Station but also about 5 minutes away from Dam Square. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is nice. It is nicely decorated. Staff is friendly to very friendly. Only the girl who worked at the breakfast looked as if she had never worked before and was sleeping more with her head on her arms than that she was working. My friend who had to wait for me in the morning not only got a cup of coffee oferede for his long waiting, but even a free breakfast, though he was not a guest at all. The only thing for the weekend is that you need to book at least 2 nights. Booking online is convenient, and advisable especially for the tourist season which officialy starts March 15th till the end of September. Overall, a nice play to stay, and highly recommendable for a low budget. |

Most places were fully booked but we managed to get a couple of beds at the Tourist Inn Hotel. We dumped our bags and were soon on our way. We had one more day to spend before meeting up with Niki and decided on a visit to the Heineken Experience. Having treated ourselves to a long lie in, we had a late… Day 29 - Keep Your Hands Off My Heine! |

Inn. The sun was shining when we went to breakfast at 09.30. I love hotel breakfasts, and among other things, to day I`m going to have Dutch pancakes.
After breakfast we went to Schiphol to check in for our flight to Munchen… I`m losing my patience, and an extra day in Amsterdam |

This beautiful hotel which was once a hunting lodge
for the royal family is now a modernized inn with a scenic surrounding.
Again, the food was wonderful and the Heineken plentiful.
Day 5 – Final Site Seeing.
With no more receptions, parties, or tours to go on we decided to
stroll around town to see the city with no specific destination. After

They told us to check in at a self check inn,but again we where flying standby,it was not possible.I was not on the list.Because of a computer malfunction it was not possible to check in at the desk,so a staff person checked us in at her office.We passed the big line of waiting… back home |
