Great location! Apr 28, 2009
The Amsterdam Court Hotel is just an ok hotel but it's very well located only two blocks away from Times Square. The rooms are small and not very modern but it's clean and there's a good bed in it. The bathroom is big enough and the airconditioning is working. Don't go to breakfast in this hotel. It costs around 10 dollars but there isn't much choice at all, so i suggest to have breakfast somewhere else. The staff is friendly but make sure you give enough tip. They don't smile anymore when you don't give them enough.

New York City, we arrived there at 8:30 at the JFK airport. We waited for our luggage and waited for the subway train. When we arrived at the station where we had to get out of the train, it was more than 2 hours later. We left the subway at Ro…hotel was. We walked alongside Times Square and already got a glimp of this famous square. We dropped our luggage at the Amsterdam Court Hotel, which was only a few block from Times Square and went back to sit on the square for a while… I woke up in the city that never sleeps! |

Het is koopavond vanavond……… MAAR NIET VOOR ONS!
Om 12.40 uur vliegen we naar NY. We waren een uur van te voren op Washington Dulles en daar werden we xtra goed gecheckt. (ook tussen de benen). Bij het inchecken werd ons…Amsterdam Court hotel, middelmatig hotel, kleine kamers maar wel midden in NY. (50th ave, tussen Times Square en Central Park) Prachtige stad NY, zie videoband! s’Morgens, s’middags, s’avonds, s’nachts, het maakt allemaal niet uit. Altijd even druk. Druk, druk, druk. En warm… New York |
