This came recommended because it was cheap ($3/4) and we agreed because we couldn’t walk any further, but surely there must be better places in Vang Vieng than this?! The room was okay, though not the cleanest ever, the beds were lumpy, the sheets were old and the bedspreads made it look like your grandma’s. But we had our own bathroom with hot water which was fine and it was far enough away from the main strips to be quiet. However there were two doors to our room and they’d only given us a key to one door; the other was unlocked! I asked for another key and they gave it to us reluctantly asking that we didn’t lose it. I was more concerned with the security of my stuff frankly! That said the staff were very helpful and very friendly. Don’t bother using hotel laundry, there are cheaper laundry places very close by. On the whole I wouldn’t stay here again, I’d rather pay a little bit extra and get something more comfortable, but if you want to save money then it’s definitely passable.
