Convenient option in central Bujumbura Jun 23, 2013
This is a nice reasonably priced option in central Bujumbura, with two decent restaurants on the ground and the top floors that serve a free breakfast and have a fairly extensive menu. The hotel has a range of rooms, and a fairly secure feel to it. Nothing fancy, but the rooms come with the super-essential mosquito nets, ensuite bathrooms and a small balcony. The place is quite clean and central, though rather characterless. The staff do try and help but most, as in Burundi generally, don't speak English. They have a computer room, a small shop within the hotel, and an outside seating/eating area in addition to the two restaurants. In general, this is a good bet if you're looking at a functional, relatively inexpensive sort of place to base yourself out of for a few days in Bujumbura.
