American Museum of Agriculture Lubbock Reviews
American Museum of Agriculture Jun 28, 2008
The American Museum of Agriculture represents the past ag equipment used in years gone by and you can see the progression of technology in them over the various version.
The American Museum of Agriculture is a collection ranges from household items to Moldboard plows and tractors. The American Museum of Agriculture currently houses restored tractors, a threshing machine, broadcast binder, combine, 71 pedal tractors, 300 die-cast toy tractors, and approximately 300 other artifacts and pieces of smaller equipment. In storage, the museum has horse-drawn equipment, field condition tractors, threshing machines, combines, grain binders, mowing machines, grain drills, hay rakes, hay balers, cotton strippers and cotton trailers.
It is located on East Broadway across from Mackenzie State Park and next to the American Wind Power Center…look for the big wind generator and head that direction.
The American Museum of Agriculture is open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
If you have never seen anything like this before and you’re here in Lubbock I would recommend going by and taking a look.
