American Airlines Center Dallas Reviews
Dallas Sports Dec 02, 2008
Dallas has quite a few professional sports teams, and many of them play in the American Airlines Center. The AAC is a new venue to house the sports teams and hold concerts, etc. I first went there in 2004, in which I attended 2 Mavericks games (NBA basketball) and one Stars game (NHL hockey). The games were a lot of fun and I really liked the arena. During the hockey game and one of the basketball games, we sat fairly close to the ice/court. It was quite enjoyable to be that close to the players. However, during another basketball game, we got tickets to a private suite. If there's any way you can get suite tickets, do it! The suite floors are really nice. There is gourmet food and even fancy bathrooms! The suites all have a kitchen area, comfortable couch-like chairs and a flat screen TV showing the game. Traffic and parking at the arena didn't seem that bad, however, I think the best way to get there is to take the train. The train has stops all throughout the metroplex. It picks you up, takes you to the game, then takes you back afterwards. Just make sure you bring something to do on the train, because your trip might be long depending on where you're coming from.
