Ameland Vacation Guide
Ameland is one of the five occupied dutch island that is part of the Waddeneilanden. Like the other islands, Ameland is very small and has not even 4000 inhabitants. What's very special of Ameland is that you can walk from the main land to the island during ebb tide. It's also possible to some other islands but only advanced walker can do that buy anyone can walk to Ameland. So you walk on the bottom of the sea! For this reason, lots of tourist visit the island. Besides tourists, the island is a popular place to live for artists because of the light and peace on the island.
