Next, we went out to Amboise Castle. The main thing I wanted to see here was the tomb of Leonardo Da Vinci, but the castle and gardens were great as well. It is a shame so much of the Castle has been lost over the years. The view of the river is amazing here as well.

The Clos Luce is a manor house where Leonardo da Vinci, at the invitation of King Francois I, spent his last years. The Manor not only displays where Leonardo lived, but they have on display inside the manor and on the grounds, models of Leonardo's most noted inventions and paintings.
