Ambience Hotel Taipei

we booked for the corner room which has a tub bath that sits in front of the floor to ceiling window which over looks the restaurant street. It's very unique and fantastic. Can be quite romantic. Very clean and modern room and bathroom. Plenty of movies to watch and it's all FREE, even the normally blocked ones. Which is a first and unusual. Staff were helpful with direction and breakfast was plenty. You can just about eat enough to skip lunch. The train station is about 15mins walk away. It's ok, but certainly not the closest. You will have to walk pass the electronic shopping centre to get there, which we are not complaining about as we bought heaps in there. Be aware that in the hotel map, the alternative train station is spelt wrongly. If you don't mind being slightly out of the way, this is a very cool hotel, and do try the local seafood restaurants, they are CHEAP!!! Plenty of bars and clubs too.
