For a week, we stayed in Ambassador's Hotel in Sukhumvit which is very near Nana BTS station and the subway station.. the food's delicious and had variety of choices (accomodation has free breakfast) plus lunch buffet is also affordable....

I love the fact that the hotel is very accessible and is located in the heart of Bangkok - the commercial and entertainment district.

I can always stroll around or ride the skyway train to Siam Paragon or the MBK or the Lumpini.

There are also many other restaurants in the area (indian, chinese, korean, etc.).. beside the hotel's a 24-hour grocery store so if you need anything anytime, you'll have your answer.

Costs? very affordable - 2T baht and up..And of course, the hotel also offers wonderful SPA service :)

I spent a night at the Ambassador but it wasn't a good one.

First there was a call to the roomphone in the middle of the night, then there was the knocking on te door, after that someone tried to get into the room. So that pretty kept me up most of the night.

And since this was the first night of my traveling trough Thailand, it wasn't a good beginning. Thats why i didn't rate this hotel very good.

anyway, it helped that our host organization had established good relationship with the hotel and so, things were settled then. i'll certainly recommend the Ambassador's Hotel for their hospitality and great service :) entrance to the Ambassador… what?! am not booked?
