Nice hotel with character Nov 03, 2014
I really liked this hotel. It had charm and character and didn't feel like just another hotel room.
Even though it was a single room it had 2 single beds pushed together to make a double, which was great.
The tv was small but in the 3 days I was there I don't think I switched it on once anyway.
Instead of the usual horrible paintings of boring landscapes on the wall there was paintings done by Gustav Klimt (a famous Austrian painter) which I thought was a great touch and showed that whoever designed the rooms really thought it out and didnt just follow the boring template that so many other hotels do.
The bathroom was clean, tidy and had a walk-in shower. The water from the shower was awesome, it felt more like a pressure washer than a shower. Very refreshing.
The hotel itself is in a perfect location. Restaurants all around and 2 convenience stores (spar & billa) right across the street and the bus stations are less than a minutes walk away.
The views were great as was the free breakfast. Regarding the views, during one elevator ride a woman asked me what my view from the room was like and I said it was great, she told me her's was terrible. Unfortunately when it comes to hotels you can't pick the exact room you want, so fingers crossed you get the good views when booking.
In all I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its relatively expensive but if your not on a budget then go ahead, treat yourself ;)
