Alto Castello Reviews
Excellant stay Feb 19, 2009
I stayed here a few years ago. I found an ad in the newspaper and got a very good deal for a month stay. I felt very safe in the neighborhood as well as in the building. They had a good doorman that watched everything and didn't let just anyone into the building. The parking garage had tight security as well. I took walks around and felt safe. There is a mini mart about a block or 2 away, kinda expensive but if the supermarket is too far for you , then that is the next best choice. There were a couple of pubs close by that were always jammin with people. The metro is convenient , you can get out on El Golf or Tobalaba stations, Line 1. There is a pharmacy within walking distance. El Golf is just like the DTC area of Denver , if you have ever been there, or the Brickell area of Miami. We had housekeeping service, it was okay, could have dusted better. The one bedroom was nice, comfortable queen size bed and the sofa bed was comfy too. When I go back and they have a good deal going on again I will stay.

I stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Santiago. Its location is convenient to public transit and some nice restaurants are in walking distance. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always get a good nights sleep here.
