Al's French Fries
Al's French Fries Reviews
Tasty fun with a laid back atmosphere Feb 04, 2009
We think Al's is a great old-fashioned burger place to get cheap eats. We love stopping here in springtime and summer in the afternoon on our walks for burgers, dogs, fries and milkshakes.
For under $10 we can sit at a table listening to fun music and really enjoy ourselves for an hour. They have a lovely garden out front that is always well-kept and though it looks busy when you first walk in (always a good sign!) the line moves quickly! We haven't tried the ice cream yet but hope to stop by for soft-serve this summer on a visit! |

Started in the late 1940's, this family run buger stop is not your typical fast food joint, still today very reminiscent of the 50's diner, with the red seats in the booths and all. All food is made to order and doesn't sit under a lamp all day. Great, and I mean great french fries and minute steaks. Burgers, chicken fingers, milkshakes...what more can you want?
In the summer there is an Ice Cream area outside too, for all the area kids it's a huge treat to go to Al's for ice cream and to play on the playground! This is the first place I go when I get into the airport...since it is right around the corner! Part of the Places I have lived travel blog |
