Alpine Motel, Lodge & Restaurant is located in the township of Ohakune, which is the closest town to the Turoa Skifield. Ohakune adjoins New Zealand's only World Heritage Park Tongariro, famous for its magnificent scenery, splendid walks including the Tongariro Crossing, and is also home to Mt Doom and Gollum's Pool. This is Middle Earth at its finest.
