Ali's Kebabs Gold Coast Reviews
Kebabs near Q1 @ Ali's Kebabs Jan 15, 2010
Always looking for the best kebabs in town, actually I always have the falafel roll. Several times in my way back home from work I passed next to this shop, but never went inside. The other day we were lazy to cook and decided to try it.
There are several kebab places in the middle of Surfers, but once you start going further away, it's not easy to find one. Ali's Kebabs is close to the tallest building in town "Q1" and they are open until late. Most of the kebab places are kiosks, but this one is a small shop with tables inside and outdoors. Impressive!
They serve different type of kebabs, including the falafel roll and also have baklavas. My friend got a chicken kebab and I got the falafel roll. What was different here is that they add cheese to all the orders and usually if you want it, you have to order it as an extra. Personally, I don't like it that much. Prefer the tabouli, which was free too.
This place is good if you are craving for a kebab and don't want to walk further or is getting late. If not take your time and you might discover something better
