Ali's Cabarete Surf Camp
Ali's Cabarete Surf Camp Reviews
You get what you pay for! Jul 08, 2009
It was $45 a night for my 'bungalow' which was not the cheapest of rooms by the way. It was literally the smallest, darkest, loudest room I have ever NOT slept in. The mosquito net had rips all in it in so it did nothing. I am only 5'11 and my feet hung over the edge of the bed. I was provided no soap and 1 towel although it was not listed when you get the room to bring extras or soap. The hot water turned out to be broken. My room was right by the street so I could hear the moto conchos all night and early AM. You could hear your neighbor sneeze, pee, talk, everything. Luckily I got upgraded to their 2 bdrm apt across camp which WAS fabulous but who knows how much that was a night. The food at the restaurant was generally deep fried and not that good tasting although the restaurant is supposedly popular with tourists. I say skip it. There is an apt building down the st. for $12 a night and according to other visitors, worth it.
