Great food with a twist of story Dec 19, 2016
The restaurant is interesting with many old furniture as decoration and it is own history where the grandmother of the owner actually killed the boyfriend because he refused to marry her and then she was sentenced life imprisoned in Addington Prison in Christchurch, and this restaurant open for her memoir.

It was busy inside as not many restaurants open during Christmas in NZ. We have to wait for awhile at the bar area before able to get a table and we browse the menu while waiting.

Once we get a table, we order straight away as we know what we would like to eat. The table and chairs put closedly to each other so we can peep to other neighbour food.

Surprisingly the food was really delicious and the price was reasonable for NZ price.

We really enjoy our dinner and we talked with our next table neighbour in and after dinner as we were peeping each other meal. I was too full after the main meal and have too skip desser unfortunately.

I would highly recommend this place if money is not a problem.
