Alhambra Palace Restaurant Chicago Reviews
Middle East meets your party Mar 19, 2016
I attended an America Nepal Medical Foundation fundraiser here and really enjoyed the beautiful ballroom they dedicated to the event. It was large enough for about 90 of us upstairs. I wasn't as impressed with the food options as a fusion restaurant the majority seemed catered to a meat eater, so I only really tried hummus, babaganoush and falafel with salad, but those were good. Hence the 4 stars. I am sure catering for a huge party was probably the limiting factor (otherwise it might have been different). I was glad that the band for the event took breaks so that we could listen and dance to classic Nepali songs (seemed more appropriate for an Earthquake Relief fundraiser than "Beat it". no offense to MJ).
At the end of the event we all took a peek at the belly dance show going on in the main ballroom.
It was a strangely curious venue, but definitely a large enough space for the group. I would be curious to know what the rest of the menu actually looks like.
