Old Town and other places

Well, I've been to Old Town Alexandria a couple of times now. Usually I bring my visitors here. It's a nice place for just strolling and window shopping. Only one metro stop away from where I live or a short drive. Walking down King street, which is the main street through Oldtown, is always nice. The shops are mostly antiques or boutiques. There's a bunch of restaurants too. I wanted to go to this place that serves German food, called the Cafe "Europe". Well, I guess it's good if you don't k...

I comment on her blogs, reviews and pictures regularly, we smiled and chatted back and forth and found we have many things in common, or should I say my wife Lena (bwitch16) and her have many things in common. I also saw she lived in Alexandria, Virginia, which is close to us, only a 45 to ...

The Fall colors lasted a long time in 1999 along the path between Washington, DC and the Mount Vernon Estate adjacent to the Potomac River and George Washington Parkway.  The bicycle path gives great access to this beutiful area in Alexandria, VA.

I leave for Alaska in twelve hours. Is it just me or does time slow down when something important is about to happen. I feel as though something great will happen while I'm in Alaska. Let energy flow through me and thanks flow from me. Some of you will be getting letters from me while I'm in Alaska. If you don't get one, please don't take offense. Mailing a postcard may seem cheap but mailing fifty of them gets expensive. See you soon! But then I'm off to Italy!

posted by:
Feb 04, 2008 - Feb 15, 2008
Okay, so we didn't really plan this trip. We only knew that there were a few places that we wanted to visit somebody at and wanted to see. My friend from Germany had arrived on Sunday and we took the first day to catch up and talk about the good ol times. hahaha So tomorrow we would start our road trip because there was lots to see and only 12 days to do it.
