Alexandria Bay Travel and Tourism Guide

It was Tuesday and our day to lead.  I had studied the map and decided to take the road closest to Lake Ontario, thinking that it would provide us with the prettiest scenery.  The morning was cool and a little bit damp, but when the clouds lifted, we were riding beneath a sky of blue.  The morning started with a good breakfast at our hotel, so we could wait until mid-afternoon for lunch.  Leisurely riding, just enjoying the warm sun and the road.  Nothing co...

So we jump back across the border.  The American Customs agent was a lot friendlier than the Canadian one.  I felt so welcome back into my own country... and we didn't even have passports!  He asked us whether or not we did, and I said I had my birth certificate, but Katie had left her passport back home.. he's like "Alright.. have a great day!" and let us through.  There's a huge bike rally in Alexandria Bay this weekend.  We go down to the Capt Thomson's Hotel down ...
