This morning we stopped off at Einstein Bagels before heading out to Petroglyph National Monument for a good hike. The park is a few miles northwest of the city, and it was pretty easy to find thanks to road signs on the interstate and side roads. The last couple hours driving let us contemplate what we'd seen and what we might do the next time if we ever got back. I'll make this trip again at some point. Plenty of things I didn't take time for. Like Hovenweep in Utah, Long and Spruce Tree Houses at Mesa Verde and Pueblos Alto and del Arroyo at Chaco. These places are just spectacular and shouldn't be missed by Americans or anyone else who likes architecture or native histories. Come one, come all!
