An affordable semi-pro baseball game for an affordable price and a great venue Jul 28, 2009
Albuquerque was without baseball a while back when we lost our beloved Albuquerque Dukes. Low and behold, Triple A baseball has returned to Albuquerque in full swing and is currently the farm team to the Los Angeles Dodgers! A bramd new stadium and the wide open warm summer skies of Albuquerque make this a great place to spend a relaxing evening of watching a quality baseball game.

Just two and a half hours north of Albuquerque on Interstate 25 you will run into Santa Fe, Espanola, Taos and other small towns/villages along the way. Just south of Taos nestled deep in the Carson national forest you will find pristine small streams/rivers that are regularly stocked with rainbow trout and for the more advanced angler, you will most likely catch German Brown Trout which are almost considered native to those streams and you may occasionally catch our state fish-the cutthroat trout! Plenty of great places to camp out and other activities include hiking, whitewater rafting in the Rio Grande, a local winery in Dixon,NM., and the occasional open field to do a plethora of things.
