Calgary was awesome. The air smelled so clean (quite a change from Ohio!) An outdoor sculpture park and an indoor arboretum kept us busy in between shopping and excellent dining. It's possible to walk through most of downtown indoors via a skywalk, which was handy when it was raining!

Yamnuska scramble: Kananaskis Travel Photos

Less than an hour away from Calgary. Mt Yamnuska's front face is a popular rock climbing area. The back side can be scrambled (class 2 scramble) in 3-4 hours round trip. For those with good knees, you can ski down the scree slope as a shortcut.
