I went to Prague for WARR and on the way I stopped in Paris and London.

Jasper is a nice spot, in my opinion. We drove into Jasper and did a few short hikes in the vicinity seeing Maligne River Canyon with great torrents of water and falls and backwaters with pretty rock gardens. We had lunch atop a small hill that overlooks Jasper itself. Jasper has an internet cafe for catching up with friends around the world like most places now. Another day another hike. The Year of the Rat in North America.

5/5 - 324 miles. We arrived At glowing Embers RV park. The weather today was clear and in the 70's. There are a number of things to do in this town. Tomorrow we will go to a few flea markets. We plan on a day at the W. Edmonton Mall. This is one of the largest in North America.

My family's last trip together. May 26 to June 4th in the rockie mountains. We stayed at the Jasper Park Lodge and had an amazing week hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding and partying, of course.

The plane left London Heathrow at 12:30. Air Canada were great. Entertainment with a personal TV choice, you could pick which film you wanted to watch or there was a selction of TV shows and Radio Stations. Food and Drinks just kept on coming. We were well looked after. We arrived in Calgary at 14:30 canadian time and waited another hour while Dad tried to find the car we had hired. Success at last and now we off to the middle of nowhere. The flight from Calgary to Glasgow was schedule for 22:00 on June 17,2008. The Flyglobespan flight from Vancouver was late. We boarded close to midnight then sat on on the tarmac. They had some mechanical problems. They served the meal and we sat. The pilot announced that they we looking for a starter part and we should soon be on our way. 02:30 June 18  The flight is scrapped and we are told to come back at 15:00 hours. They need a part from Vancouver. All flight staff vanished. ...
