It seemed like it took forever! It was like 9 hours give or take,I don't like going by car, I rather go by plane lol. I just listened to my Ipod, slept, looked at magazines, and that's about it.When we got their it was supper time, ate at my uncles and aunts families house, and waited for my grandmas sister and husband to pick us up. We went to their house in Okotoks, went for a drive, looked at scrapbooks, and went in their hot tub! and off to bed!

If you are ever looking for an affordable, yet good mountain to board on, I would strongly reccomend Sunshine! Only a small drive from Banff, and has great powder and good riding conditions. Also there are several other mountains within a close proximity to Sunshine that you could also explore.

This was a great little day trip. Right in Alberta's
backyard, and we had never been here! The Valley is
beautiful in it's rustic splendor. We were told that temperatures
here have been off the therometer this year 50* C and up to? - well
they are not sure. The Heroglyphics were written in the
1800's - quite amazing!

We enjoyed the Stampede today!
Be careful if you put your kids in charge of the budget! They can get picky. They convinced me last night to skip the shuttle and we were kindly refunded our $40.
Early this morning we drove our big rig throughout a major city, down small streets, with construction barriers, and 3km runners. Fortunately, Calgary was reduced traffic this Sunday morning. By 7:15 am. we'd paid $20 total for 2 parking spots...
