Un rêve...

I live here now, it is summer and the sun sets past 1130pm. We will have to see what the winter has in store for us, I'm guessing Brrrrr, freeeeezing ass cold.

A friend and I went hiking in the Canadian Rockies right after 9/11.

It was a plane, train , boat and car trip this time. Don't want to show any favortism, lol. Highlights include Glacier National Park,Waterton National Park, North American Indian Days, etc. Also check out my review of a "Walk in the Treetops" in Whitefish, Montana.

I think everyone has a place of retreat where they find rest and fill up on love and energy. My Camelot happens to be a half-section of land in Cassils, Alberta that houses some family history and two of the dearest people I know. I've been able to escape at least once annually for just about every year of my life and consider it one of my joys and necessities. Come share some memories

There are three of us, city employees, taking on this adventure of a lifetime, flying to Ottawa and leaving our families behind for what will seem to be a long, long, time.  This is only the first leg of our journey.

My 10,000 mile five week drive around the Southwest US, up the west coast, across the Canadian Rockies and Prairies, through the Great Lakes Region, across the Appalachians, through New England and all the way to Newfoundland.
