Norquay Ski Hill is the local ski hill in Banff. We drove up there, mainly to take in the views on the way up to the hill. They are amazing views, which everyone should have the fortune of seeing. It was beautiful.

The 15 minute drive to Lake Minnewanka is a nice drive. The colour of the water is the most beautiful shade of blue that I’ve ever seen (it doesn’t always look that nice shade of blue in pictures, though). If you’re feeling brave, you can take a swim, however, the water is extremely cold, as...

The ride up the Sulphur Mountain gondola is a must-do when visiting Banff. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the top, and you can stay up there for as long as you want. From the top of Sulphur Mountain, you get to look out at all the surrounding mountains, and everything below, including Banff. ...

This is an essential stop for any Canadian at some time in his or her life, and for any visitor to Canada looking for a little history. The interpretive centre is located about 18km from Fort Macleod and is beautifully built into the sandstone cliffs in various levels.

Heritage Days in Edmonton is a weekend long 'festival' you could say. It coincides with Heritage Day (Canadian Holiday) aka "August Long Weekend."
In William Hawrelak park (a MASSIVE city park btw) many countries are represented by a fairly large 'booth'/tent section. Walk around and check out wh...
