This is in contention for my favourite building in Edmonton. Tours are free, and not just for political nerds like myself!

The Alberta Legislature was built about 100 years ago as the centre for government... stuff... in Edmonton. Government offices are all around the place, and inside.

It is arguably the best provincial legislature in Canada (although I may be biased!) There's an insane amount of marble on the inside and the outside is all sandstone.

Even if you can't visit it physically, you can take a virtual tour on the Alberta Legislature website!

Tours are free and run frequently. They're also very interesting!! The building is wheel-chair accessible, but there are a few stairs to deal with if you don't need the elevator!
