Not just a youth hostel.... Jun 22, 2005
The Castle of San Servando is located on a mound in front of the Alcantara Bridge which provides wonderful views of the city of Toledo.
This castle built in 14th century of Mudejar style, was rebuilt above the ruins of an Arabic castle and is currently a youth hostel. The castle has a pool and two sports courts, garden and benches. Undoubtedly the best of this accommodation are the rooms, especially the bathroom that is overly large. As for meals we can not complain: good quality and sufficient quantity. Besides, the treatment of all staff of the Castle has been correct and efficient every time I've enjoyed this place. In short, with a high quality-price relation, San Servando is a totally recommended accommodation from where begin to enjoy the city of Toledo. Part of the Toledo travel blog |
