Ever get invited to stay with a friend in Alaska? GO! Flew to Juneau from Seattle, via Ketchikan. Stayed in Douglas, across the bridge from Juneau, with my friend Danielle. Explored downtown Juneau, caught a couple of plays, and visited the Shrine of St. Theresa. I saw orcas, eagles, Russian churches, and the biggest, bluest, coldest chunk of ice I've ever seen--Mendenhall Glacier! The Alaskan southeast in early spring is not as cold as you might think, spare the occasional flurry. Go!

This trip was vastly different than the first show last Sept with the guys. The trip last week was the "GIRLS" showing off their fishing prowess and expeditionary adaptability! While we didn't get into the freshwater fishing (Salmon aren't in the rivers yet) like the previous show.....we DID however get to the outside waters where the action was...

Hey there! Well this past May (2007) we decided to take a trip to Alaska through Norwegian Cruise line(*not my favorite cruiseline). We flew out of Seattle, Washington-amazing airport! The trip was amazing and great for beginners like me! We were so determined to do some amazing things while we were there! There is more that I would have loved to do but definately next time! We ended up biking in Skagway, rode the White Pass & Yukon Route. Our top spot would have to be Ketchikan,Alaska amazing!

It's prettier here than in Minnesota. This is where my family had moved to. Homesteading was proving to be a troublesome task. My younger brothers and sisters were not all that enthused to study. I immediately got a part-time job at the roller rink. Also another part time job with a bookkeeper that lived within walking distance. Later I added the 3rd job which was selling Avon in our trailer court. I started UAF in the fall of 1979. Can you believe the size of the school was overwhelming for ...

We left Dawson Creek at mile "0" on a clear day. The weather was great, Since it was eairly when we reached Fort Nelson, BC we continued on to Toad River. The campground had electric only, but I was expecting that so we had water in our fresh water tank.
