Great service! Jun 21, 2011
All staff on Alaska Airlines are really friendly and helpful. They offer in-flight WiFi (I'm posting this from high in the sky) and they have food options that are dairy and gluten free (no special ordering required). I feel really spoled!

I would fly them between Sacramento and Seattle when I lived in Yakima. Nice airline.

Alaska Airlines from Phoenix Sky Harbor to Seattle-Tahoma Airport Oct 15, 2010
I flew with Alaska Airlines to Seattle on a recent trip to Iceland. It was part of a last minute ticket purchase my boyfriend Mark and I made on OneTravel.com.

The ticket to Iceland included different segments which would include the use of 4 different airports to and from Iceland. Alaska Airlines was the carrier that we used for the Phoenix to Seattle segment of the travel. This was the first time I was using the airline, I did not know what to expect, well I probably did not even think about it since I was more concerned about getting from Phoenix to Seattle to catch the International flight to Keflavic.

I was pleasantly surprised with the effeciency with which the customer service agent processed our passport details and issued tickets for both the domestic and international portions of the trip. She checked our bags all the way to Iceland which saved us the hassels of dealing with the bag during our 8 hour layover in Seattle.

The flight took off on time, the flight was full surprisingly. The seats were a little small and the flight attendants really needed to be a little more professional. They providing information over the PA as if they knew everyone on the flight, treating all passagers with familiarity that I thought was a little unprofessional. Do not get me wrong, a little personable is good, they over did it on the fligt. That aside, the PA system was in need of repair, the sound quality was reduced because of the crackling noises in the mechanism of the equipment.

The good news is that our pilot was great. The flight was smooth, bringing us to Seattle with no incident. I always love it when a pilot lands the plane smoothly, this pilot did just that. On the ground in Seattle, it took as a bit to get off the plane, but that was okay, we had plenty of time in Seattle.

I would definitely recommend Alaska Airlines. I thought for my first time, the departure and arrival times made up for any minor inconveniences caused during the flight.
