Alaska Airline/Horizon Boeing 737-900
Alaska Airline/Horizon Boeing 737-900 Reviews
Boeing 737-900 Sep 21, 2009
The Boeing 737 has been flying for a long time, if fact all the way back to 1967. This latest version has been out for the last ten years. It is one of the favorite short to medium twin engine, narrow bodied jets that has ever been built. Seating 16 in the first class and 156 in coach, the seats, three on each side of the individual isle are, or at least seem, narrower and are slightly more upright than the few other planes we have flown. The plane was clean and well maintained.
Alaska Air has historically been one of the largest carriers on the west coast of the US as well as to and within the state of Alaska, with strong presences in Seattle, Portland, the San Francisco Bay Area and the Los Angeles Area. Our flight staff was well trained, cordial, and offered complimentary coffee, juices, and water and even seconds during the flight. Our flight covered 1529 in 3 hours 35 minutes.
