Alamo Lake State Park Wenden Reviews
Outdoor Fun & Fishing May 28, 2013
On our way from Lake Havasu State Park, we made a top along the Bill Williams River valley and came across this Arizona secret nestled in the valley. The lake offers visitors fun outdoor recreational activities and is a popular fishing destination.
It is an angler's dream destination with plenty of bass fishing while the mountain backdrop offers relaxation and star gazing opportunity when night falls.
The Alamao lake was created in 1968 when the damning of the Big Sandy River and Santa Maria Rivers created the Alamo Dam.
