Aladdin Overview

Aladdin is a tiny unincorporated town of 15 located at the intersection of Wyoming Highways 24 and 111 in Crook County in Northeast Wyoming. Aladdin is not to far from Devil's Tower National Monument, Interstate 80, the town of Sundance, and the state of South Dakota. Aladdin was established in 1894. Two years later the Aladdin General Store was established and is still open today (it is the #1 reason people come here). The store is an outstanding example of the increasingly rare late 19th century vernacular mercantile style of architecture. There is also a post office inside the store. Other attractions include Cindy B's a small café known for its fresh made pies. An interesting side note. The entire town of Aladdin is for sale so if you ever wanted to own your own town and have 1.5 million dollars laying around; think about it. The Aladdin General Store is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
