Coming to Venice, we wanted to have seafood or seafood pasta. We actually walked out of two restaurants before settling for this one, as the previous restaurants are tourist-y, they have menus in more than 5 languages and the sauces are made from frozen ingredients.

We liked that this restaurant is rather small and cozy, and being in an area less tourist-y, you know that they serve hearty authentic meals. This restaurant has several recommendation stickers on the door.

Most restaurants in Venice are small and tables are limited, so its best to reserve ahead. Since we just walked-in, we were expected to finish before the actual reservation comes in.

This restaurant serves primi - pasta in portions for 2 persons. There were 4 of us - so we had 2 sets : spaghetti vongole and spaghetti marinara. It was so delightful and we finished it to the last string of spaghetti! We were famished too since we missed lunch, traveling on the train.

After having pasta in Italy, pasta at home just wouldnt be up to it..

We also ordered the squid in ink sauce with polenta, and dinner was concluded with creamy panna cotta.
