Al-Malwiyah mosque Sep 07, 2011
Al-Malwiyah mosque is unique ,wonderful building, sure you haven't seen something like this before and you will never see like it through the world.

It`s a strange archaeological style besides its historical importance.

Location of this site .

It`s locate in middle of Iraq about 125KM north of Baghdad,in a city known as Samarra to which can access by car.

UNESCO named Samarra as one of is world heritage site,it is one of important historical city in Iraq.

A;-Malwiyah is a spiral minaret of what is called The Great Mosque of Samarra. It`s build in 847AC by the Caliph Al-Mutawakkil .

Are conditions in Iraq still dangerous? Any tourism opened up yet (besides the holy shrines of karbala etc) ??

Very unique mosque... There is one in Unayzah in Saudi, looks almost similar but not nearly as spectacular as the one in Samarra
