Apr 04, 2006 As many people know, Jeddah is one of the hidden gems of the world, in terms of culinary delights. It has one of the most diverse cuisines in the world and that too with incredible quality. However, we're not talking about that, we're talking about what unites all Saudis together, and that is Al-Baik! Simply put, it is the greatest fast food chicken known to man. It is broasted chicken (kind of like fried chicken, but less oily) made in a special oven, and you dip this chicken in Al-Baik's patented secret sauce. You can also try their shrimp cocktail with the same sauce. Al-Baik has the best service one will witness in a fast-food setting, it is always clean with a relaxed sweet atmosphere. Any person who visits Saudi Arabia MUST try Al-Baik for it incenses the passions. This chicken is that good. You can get a combo for about $3 USD and the quantity is ample. KFC has realized it cannot compete with this restaurant, it is descended from the heavens
