Al Ain Vacation Guide
Al Ain (or Al-Ayn) - meaning the eye or the spring. The name was originated from the natural oasis located in this town. This 4th largest city in UAE is also known as Garden City, because the effort to plant and keep the city green with trees and grass.
It can be reached from Abu Dhabi (1.5 hrs) driving or from Dubai (1 hrs driving) to the border of Buraimi in Oman.
There are several attractions, as the museum, palace, zoo, oasis (with the old falaj - or irigation system), public swimming pool and green park, last but not least is the high peak of Jebel Hafeet mountain, with the stunning view and nice road.

Visited Abu Dhabi and Dubai via Kuwait. What a long trip that was, starting off in San Diego. Flying Southwest in coach to Washington DC. Took United to Kuwait, First Class. Finally Etihad to Abu Dhabi, in Economy class. What an ordeal, but being in the United Arab Emirates was amazing! So many wonderful sights!
