lots of creatures in the desert Feb 11, 2011
The al Ain wildlife part is an interesting place in that its a bit off the beaten path for the UAE. I never intended to go to this place, but stumbled upon it by accidant so decided to give it a look see.

This zoo had many animals that you don't see at zoo's in the USA. Mainly arabian animalrs like oryxs and ibuses. Another nice part is that the place isn't covered in toursits.

One really cool thing they have are the african wild dogs, which are very endangered and they just had puppies.

anyhow enjoy the photos

Al Ain Wildlife Park and Jebel Jafeet -- January 2010 -- Jan 04, 2010
113 kms out of Dubai, Al Ain is considered as the oasis of UAE. Dates plantation lined along the way and life I say is easy.

Then I visited Al Ain Wildlife Park and Resort, i thought it was just another zoo with boring caged animals but when I was at the end of my tour. There i saw the best part of it which I will show on my pictures. Entrance fee is 15 AED or 5 USD and you can also take a train ride around the zoo for free. Trains operate all throughout the opening hours which is from 10 am till 6 pm.

Then there is Jebel Jafeet, the famous moutain in Al Ain. One will be taken a top with a 13km distance. If you're into mountains, then this one is unique rock mountain. There is no entrance fee and you will have a good view of Al Ain down under
plants inside the zoo
Zebras with the rock mountains in …
Reunited with nature
mmmmm, should i still go to Africa…

When i visited they had opened the ''dinosaur trail''. I found it interesting and i am sure that if you travel with kids they will absolutely love it.
