Al Ain Palace Museum - former residence of UAE Sheikh Mar 22, 2008
The former palace of Sheikh Zayed is one of the city's newest tourist attractions. Located on Al Ain Street, in the heart of the city on the perimeter of the Al Ain Oasis, the palace is the former residence of the rule of Al Ain, later to be the President of the UAE.
The palace has been restored to a specific period when it was occupied by Sh. Zayed. The furnishings selected for the palace are those that would have been in the rooms at that time. The palace has several separate building, with their own Majlis (quest room), separate kitchen, bedrooms, 2 storeys building for the bedrooms and living room, even a study rooms. We can see the family tree of Nahyan Family. Part of the Al Ayn - Abu Dhabi 2008 (U.A.E) travel blog |
