Akafuku is synonymous with Ise Nov 19, 2013
I was brought up hearing the commercial song of Akafuku for long years. So the word "Ise" reminds me this red-bean jam cake. Japanese people love buying a souvenir to their family or friends. People always line up in front of Akafuku souvenior shop in Ise. The rice cake is very soft, and the pureed red-bean jam is sweet. Akafuku has been a leading company at Ise. So they built a popular street in front of Ise shrine Naiku in 1993. At present the number of tourists are 4 million people a year. So this street is said as a success story. Akafuku is synonymous with Ise.
