Airport Express Bus Suvarnabhumi Airport Jun 09, 2009
This is an alternative mode of transportation from the Suvarnabhumi Airport to downtown.
Airport Express provides air-conditioned bus service. The bus cost only 150 baht while taxi can be 300 - 450 baht.

Once you are out from immigration and custom area, make your way down to gate # 8 at Arrival level on 2nd floor.
There will be 2 ticket booths available. One is right in front of the main gate # 8 and the other one is outside.
Both booths sell the same price.

Airport Express operates 4 bus routes to downtown.
• AE1 Suvarnabhumi – Silom (by expressway)
• AE2 Suvarnabhumi – Banglamphu (by expressway)
• AE3 Suvarnabhumi – Sukhumvit 3 or North Nana
• AE4 Suvarnabhumi – Hua Lamphong (by expressway)

for the extra 5 dollars it might be worth it to take a taxi right to your hotel, especially if it is after midnight. it is a 30 to 45 minute taxi and the bus is much slower

Cheap and convenient Jun 13, 2009
As a cheap and reliable option to get out from Suvarnabhumi Airport in BKK. The Airport Express buss serves the purpose. Getting out from custom and then follow the sign to do down 1 floor to Airport express bus. We will be out from the terminal building and have to wait for ~30 min. We can purchase the tickets at the counter and costs ~150 baht (5 USD). They have 4 different route for the bus.
A-2 is the bus goes to Banglampoo area / Khao Sarn area - this is normally where the backpackers are heading to. We can ask to stop somewhere in the middle of the route as well.
The service starts from early morning till close to midnight.
