![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Asian hospitality onboard Feb 23, 2008
February, 2008,
This was our first flight with an asian operator ever, and I must say it was an unknown experiences comparing it to european companies. At first we noticed the general hospitaly of the hostes onboard. Always kindly and friendly to serve you with all you're primairy (and secondairy) needs. Secondly we noticed a great system of an "open-bar". Meaning that during the the entire flight you we're free in grabbing snacks and drinks (and even comsuming them in the bar area). Furthermore we really enjoyed the personal entertainment system every seat has including 5/6 moviechannels, a real time flight status information channel, and some music channels. Adding up a (relatively) great dinner service, and there you have a top notch flight operator! Part of the Beijing China 2008 travel blog |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oct 24, 2001Basic safety practices were absent on our China Southern (CZ3832) from Hangzhou to Xiamen: * One cabin crew sitting at the boarding door did not fasten her seat belt for takeoff and landing. * The passengering pilots placed three large pilot cases unrestrained on the three seats opposite the cabin crew's jump seats. Certainly a risk in sudden deceleration as there was no partition between the passenger seats and the crew. Service-wise, everything went well. As with all flying history in China, the fligh was on time, with a tasty hot meal served despite the short 1 hour duration. The meal was a bit lighter than others we've had but entirely appropriate for the duration. Part of the 2001 Sabah, Shanghai, Eastern China & Xiamen travel blog |
