Airborne Museum Oosterbeek Reviews
A very realistic war experience Jul 10, 2010
The Airborne Museum hosts an important collection of items (flags, banners, uniforms, medals, etc.) of both german and allied forces that were used in the WWII Battle of Arnhem. You can also find war related pictures and paintings and some of Arnhem before and after the war.
But definitively the most exciting part of the tour is the "Airborne experience" which consists in a number of rooms in dark pitch and with very realistic war sets, including real scale statues, video and sounds. I think it really helps getting close to the horror that war is all about.
