Air Tanzania

During my East Africa travels I used Air Tanzania on two occassions only: The first was a trip to Dar es Salaam from Entebbe, and the Second was from Nairobi to Arusha from where I was going on a safari to Ngorongoro Crater. I must say in comparison to Kenya Airways which is the dominant airline in East Africa, ATC was great in service and keeping schedules. They took off each time at least 5 minutes before take off and landed as scheduled. Living in the US, I have found that the domestic airlines do not keep schedules much. If one is time conscious, Air Tanzania is a great option for travel between East African Countries. The only problem is that there are just a few flights and they may not suit youir shcedule depending on what you are doing down there.
